  Oakwood Forest Preschool at the Dunwoody Nature Center

     Oakwood Forest Preschool is a play-based, place-based, emergent learning program that is almost exclusively outside on the 22 acres of the Dunwoody Nature Center. Nature is the curriculum. Our day is set by the season, the weather, the animals and plants. The children will naturally learn through wonder and curiosity. Our program consists of two classes of 12 students each, a 3 day and a 5 day class. Interested in having your child participate? Fill out the application online.

  My Chickadee and Me - Registration is Open Now!

     Join us for one of our most popular Nature Center programs! During My Chickadee and Me, your toddlers ages 18 months – 3.5 years old will have a great time exploring the park with their adult partner and led by one of our naturalists. Each week will have a different theme, featuring fun and engaging activities. Meet other parents in the community and get your child outdoors & excited about nature. Parents, grandparents, and caregivers of all kinds are welcome! Our outdoor classroom is a safe and nurturing environment where curiosity is encouraged, and friendships blossom.
