Housed in a 22.000 square foot Hall of Justice, this high-definition 3-D animation ride immerses riders into the city of Metropolis. Traveling through an indoor simulated video game, riders use laser guns to take out the bad guys and save the Justice League. Wearing 3-D glasses, players shoot at things on the screens and collect points.
We had the opportunity to experience this ride this past week, and it is definitely one of our favorites now! The 4-D effects that guests experience seriously make this game truly worth any wait in line! Crazy fun and highly interactive, this is a genuine thrill ride! Even the Hall of Justice space where riders wait to board the cart is amazing with Cyborg instructing riders on the objectives of the mission, should they choose to accept it. Seated on 6-passenger vehicles that turn 360 degrees, you are going to experience the exciting twists and turns. With one of the first-ever virtual loops, riders even feel like they are going head-over-heels. In other words, participants experience the action up close and personal as they come across explosions and other disasters. From the laughing gas that the Joker sprays to the intense heat from a real flame, participants are going to want to ride this over and over. My son describes this as an “insanely hot ride,” and I have to agree!
Six Flags has given Metropolis, the City of Tomorrow, a new face lift, and it looks spectacular!
Your favorite games and rides are still here looking great.
This year the park turns the big 5-0 on June 16 and they will be throwing a birthday party like no other! Celebrating fifty years, Six Flags is going to offer guests plenty of fun-filled events to make this year the best ever. I do not know about you, but I recall so many days of my youth being spent at Six Flags. It was the best place to be (and still is) if you lived in Atlanta. Why not bring that excitement back by purchasing a season’s pass. You can find all the details here.
My family and I hope to see you out there this spring and summer!
